We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented individual to provide essential clerical and technological support for the original 6th grade camp, Cuyamaca Outdoor School. As the assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of this 80-year student program by managing administrative records and reports, tracking inventory, and maintaining vital information such as child nutrition and attendance records. Qualifications:

·         Any combination of education and experience equivalent to two-years of experience in an office support role involving the use of all office technologies to maintain records and prepare reports, and experience

·         Works collaboratively with all staff and visiting school personnel

·         Experience working in a residential outdoor education or recreation program a plus

·         Demonstrates a positive attitude, adaptable personality, strong work ethic, and likes to have fun

·         Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and those contacted in the course of performing assigned duties including schools, districts, state agencies, vendors, and clients

Requirements:

This position requires a combination of education and experience equivalent to two years of experience in an office support role involving the use of all office technologies to maintain records and prepare reports, and experience working with large and small groups of students in outdoor settings. College coursework in geology, biology, botany or environmental science preferred. Certificates and Licenses:

Position Details:

August 2026 start timeline; $27.07 – $34.54 hourly rate, plus a full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, sick leave, up to 15 paid holidays, and will participate in the CalPERS state retirement system, and more; 200 day work calendar; meals provided during program; on-site housing available.
