This is not a desk job. It's a chance to lead summer farm camp, guide school groups through a working organic farm, care for goats and pigs and ducks, and build a program portfolio from the ground up — all on 115 stunning acres in Northeast Ohio. Crown Point Ecology Center is a USDA-certified organic farm, education center, and ministry of the Dominican Sisters of Peace, where no two days look alike and the work you do is visible, tangible, and real. If you're energized by variety and driven to build something meaningful, this is your place.

Summary

Crown Point Ecology Center seeks a Director of Education & Programs to lead a year-round portfolio of 15+ programs — including Summer Farm Camp, school field trips, homeschool programs, scouts, grief and wellness partnerships, and large-scale community events — on a 115-acre USDA-certified organic farm in Akron, Ohio. This is a director-level role for someone ready to grow a department, not just manage it. The right candidate brings at least four years of experience in environmental education, outdoor education, or camp leadership, including program management or supervisory experience, and is equally comfortable in the field and at a spreadsheet.
