Join a nature-inspired early learning environment near Glacier National Park in Montana, and spend your days outdoors supporting young children through play, exploration, and connection.

This role is rooted in child-centered, nature-based learning and is ideal for an educator who values curiosity, imagination, and social-emotional development in the earliest years.

Summary

We are seeking a warm, engaged, and self-directed educator to create and guide a nature-based experience for preschool age children.

This is a high-autonomy role for someone who enjoys designing rhythm, following children’s interests, and developing curriculum in a flexible, real-world environment rather than a traditional classroom.

The environment emphasizes:

  • daily outdoor exploration
  • play-based learning and early literacy
  • calm, predictable rhythm
  • connection, co-regulation, and relationship-based care

This is a full-time permanent opportunity to shape a small program from the ground up with the potential to thoughtfully expand over time. We are located on the Swan River in Bigfork, MT near Glacier National Park and just miles from Flathead Lake.
