Summer Camp Counselor

New Pond Farm Education Center is a dynamic environmental education center located in Redding, CT.  Its 102 acre property features an award-winning dairy farm, 2.5 miles of wooded trails, a stream, pond, meadow, pastures, and indoor learning center.  “We inspire and educate each generation to become stewards of the land by championing conservation and sustainable farming practices to protect and preserve our natural world.”        

Our summer camp is an outdoor-based program for children ages 4-14.  The 2026 camp season runs for 6 weeks beginning on June 22nd.  Between 9:30am and 3:30pm, campers will have the opportunity to become naturalists, farmers, gardeners, beekeepers, chefs, artists, treasure hunters, scientists, and more. Swims in our outdoor pool are also a part of each day.

New Pond Farm is seeking experienced counselors to lead campers through their daily activities including discovery hikes, freshwater exploration, live animal encounters, science experiments, nature crafts, and more. Must be college-aged or older.
