The Education Coordinator position develops and leads dynamic youth and family programs, coordinates adult learning opportunities taught by community experts, and collaborates with colleagues across the Garden to expand the reach and impact of educational initiatives.

Summary

TITLE: Education Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Education
REPORTS TO: Director of Education
STATUS: Non-Exempt
HOURS: Part-time, 32 hrs per week. Generally, 8:30-3, M-F, some weekend and evening shifts required

The Education Coordinator plays a key role in bringing the Garden’s mission to life by creating engaging, hands-on educational experiences that inspire curiosity, discovery, and a deeper connection with plants and the natural world. This position develops and leads dynamic youth and family programs, coordinates adult learning opportunities taught by community experts, and collaborates with colleagues across the Garden to expand the reach and impact of educational initiatives. Working closely with the Director of Education, the Education Coordinator helps cultivate meaningful learning experiences that encourage people of all ages to explore, learn, and grow with plants.
