Summary
The Hulbert Outdoor Center is seeking energetic, enthusiastic Seasonal Instructors to lead hands-on, experiential education programs for school, college, and adult groups. Our programs focus on teamwork, leadership, communication, and connection to the outdoors, all on our stunning 400+ acre campus.
What You’ll Do
- Facilitate teambuilding games, group challenges, and outdoor activities
- Lead high and low ropes courses (training provided)
- Support day, overnight, and weekend programs and retreats
Help participants build confidence, community, and leadership skills
Details
- Seasonal position (primarily spring and fall)

Comprehensive training and professional development included
Requirements
- Strong commitment to educating children and communities
- Experience working with children preferred
- Basic First Aid Certification; Wilderness First Aid Certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license – Clean driving record is desired
- Willingness to be flexible and take on varied tasks that support the program
Compensation Information
Starting Pay: $14.42 per hour – Based on experience and certifications. Pay bumps for WFA and/or Lifeguard certification.
Housing and meals are provided with this position.
