Summer Crew Supervisor

POSITION PURPOSE: Crew Supervisors are RMYC fi eld-based staff who manage the day-to-day operations of crews of youth and young adults, and are integral to the fulfillment of RMYC’s mission. The Crew Supervisor will manage a diverse crew of participants between the ages of 16 to 25 in the safe and efficient completion of conservation projects outdoors, while providing structured opportunities for personal and professional development throughout this season. Often working under minimal supervision, Crew Supervisors exercise discretion and independent judgment on matters relating to the safety, well-being, and performance of crew members in the fi eld. Crew supervisors are trained, empowered, and expected to enforce RMYC and AmeriCorps policies and expected behavior of Corpsmembers in office and the field. 

POSITION TYPE: Seasonal, full time, non-exempt 

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm with weekends off . 

HOURLY WAGE: $18.00 per hour before taxes, paid every two weeks. Overtime eligible. 

REPORTS TO: Middle Rio Grande Program Coordinator DATES : May 18 to July 29, 2026 - 4 weeks paid orientation training followed by project work. (Actual dates and locations may vary due to weather, or other conditions) 

LOCATION : 2921 2nd St NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107 with project locations throughout the Albuquerque area. Participants must have reliable transportation to and from this location, according to their work schedule for the duration of the season.
