Summary
Farm Educators build meaningful relationships with youth, learn to take care of a variety of farm animals and vegetable gardens, and gain valuable leadership skills in the process. Red Gate Farm’s school and summer programs are purposefully small, with typically a 1:6 educator to student ratio. The Farm Educator helps to develop programs, and assists with farm maintenance and operation as needed. This position is designed with many opportunities to learn and grow as an educator in a unique outdoor setting.
Compensation Information
Compensation for the position is $38,000 in addition to provided on-site housing and board. Benefits include employer-funded health insurance, up to 6 weeks of paid vacation per year, free ice cream and healthy living!
