Summary

Opportunities & Responsibilities

Lead educational camp programs, including classroom activities, snorkeling, kayaking, tours, and animal interactions
Manage and supervise groups of up to 25 campers (ages 5–18) in a safe, engaging environment
Develop and deliver lesson plans that are fun, interactive, and educational
Oversee daily camp check-in, dismissal, and extended care periods
Supervise and mentor college-level interns
Set up, break down, and maintain program materials and learning spaces
Communicate effectively with staff, campers, families, and guests
Represent Clearwater Marine Aquarium with professionalism and enthusiasm

Qualifications & Physical Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in science, education, or a related field required
Experience working with children and/or teaching in formal or informal settings preferred
CPR/First Aid certification and ability to pass required background screenings
Strong communication, teamwork, and public engagement skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform frequent physical activity
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in Florida weather conditions
Optional: Must be willing to take an annual swim test.
