The Summer Camp Educator role at Cedar Circle Farm & Education Center is for experienced educators looking to expand their skills in leading groups of children outdoors. Together, our staff work to build a safe environment for learning and fun and make meaningful relationships with our campers. Summary

The Summer Camp Educator leads small groups of children ages 6–11 in Cedar Circle Farm’s farm-based summer camp, guiding hands-on activities and explorations that foster connection to nature, food, and community. 

Responsibilities include supervising and supporting campers on a working farm, ensuring physical and emotional safety, managing group dynamics, and delivering engaging, age-appropriate programming. Educators collaborate with fellow staff to plan weekly schedules and curriculum, participate in daily reflection meetings, communicate with parents and caregivers, and help guide Assistant Educators and Mentors in Training, while also supporting daily camp setup and cleanup.

Compensation Information

The Summer Camp Educator position is an hourly position with benefits including paid sick leave, fresh produce, a 20% discount at our farmstand and cafe, and access to an employee assistance program. Pay rate is $17/hr.
