Love teaching, learning, and being outside? Spend your summer sharing your passion for the outdoors as a Wolf Ridge Summer Naturalist! You’ll help create meaningful, hands-on learning experiences while building community in a beautiful Northwoods setting.

Summary

Dates: June 15–August 15, 2026
Pay: $350/week (paid biweekly)
Perks: Lodging included + meals when dining hall is open

What You’ll Do
  • Teach high-quality, hands-on classes for all ages (adventure, ecology, sustainability, cultural history)
  • Prepare and facilitate outdoor programming using experiential learning
  • Serve as a welcoming point of contact for visiting groups
  • Support camp operations (gear room, food prep, campfires, transportation, check-in/out, and more)
  • Work as part of a collaborative, flexible team—and jump in where needed
Who You Are
  • 18+ years old
  • Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR certified by start date
  • Comfortable teaching outdoors and assisting with high ropes courses and rock climbing
  • Strong communicator, team player, and eager learner
  • Interested in ecology, environmental education, and the North Woods ecosystem
