Sprout Up Chapter Operations Coordinator

At Sprout Up, we train college student volunteers to teach children vital concepts in environmental science and sustainability, cultivating the next generation of passionate caretakers of the earth. Sprout Up is a program of Environmental Volunteers, a 53-year old environmental education organization based in Palo Alto, CA. Environmental Volunteers (EV) inspires people of all ages to learn about the wonders of the natural world. This position is based at the Environmental Volunteers EcoCenter in the Palo Alto Baylands. 

Sprout Up currently has 10 active university chapters and is expanding to new locations in the 2025-2026 School year. The Sprout Up Chapter Operations Coordinator will assist with the chapter operations support of existing Sprout Up chapters. The person in this position works closely with Sprout Up’s National Director and Sprout Up Director of Chapter Operations and Community to strengthen and scale the Sprout Up program nationally. They are a key leader in implementing our commitment to inclusive engagement of diverse communities including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, low-income, and disabled communities, and therefore members of these communities are strongly encouraged to apply.
