Are you an early childhood educator who wants to combine best practice with the beauty of the natural world? At Fenner Nature Preschool, we integrate Reggio-inspired methods with outdoor, play-based learning to create an environment where both children and teachers thrive.

Summary

The FNP Co-Lead Teacher, reporting directly to the FNP Director, shares responsibility for the instruction, care, and guidance of students in collaboration with a co-lead partner. Together, the Co-Leads plan and implement curriculum using emergent, nature-based, and Reggio-inspired methods, while ensuring the physical, emotional, and developmental well-being of each child.

The ideal candidate has experience and education in early childhood, carries a deep personal connection to nature and has a strong desire to nurture that same connection in young learners. As a member of the Fenner Nature Preschool teaching team, the Co-Lead must be enthusiastic about collaboration, reflective practice, and fostering a classroom culture of curiosity, respect, and joy.
