Fort Worth Water is hiring a Conservation Specialist—and if you're passionate about sustainability, love connecting with people, and don’t mind a little behind-the-scenes data magic, this is your chance to make a real impact. You'll lead outreach, track program details, and help our community use water smarter. It’s a role that blends purpose, creativity, and follow-through in one of the fastest-growing cities in the country.

Summary

If you're the kind of person who gets fired up about sustainability, understands the power of environmental education, and wants your work to make an immediate, tangible difference—this role was made for you. Fort Worth Water (City of Fort Worth) is hiring a Conservation Specialist to lead our water conservation outreach and education efforts. You’ll be on the front lines of community engagement, building programs that shift behavior, foster resilience, and connect people to the bigger picture of how we use and protect our most essential resource.

You’ll also manage the behind-the-scenes side of our programs—tracking data, processing rebate applications, and handling case management to make sure customers have a smooth experience from toilet orders to final reports.

This isn’t about checking boxes—it’s about turning strategy into action, using communication to drive change, and shaping the future of sustainable water use in a drought-prone state. You’ll join a team that values bold ideas, collaboration, and leadership rooted in purpose.
