Nursery Group Teacher

The Antioch School is looking for an experienced teacher for the Lead Nursery teaching position, beginning in the 2025-2026 school year.  The Nursery is a multi-age class comprised of children approximately 3.5-5 years old.  Applicants must have extensive understanding of child development, child-centered learning, and the demonstrated ability to apply those principles based on the social, intellectual, and creative needs of the individuals within the group. Bachelor’s degree or relevant teaching experience required. The school is seeking a teacher with keen observation skills, who can shepherd the Nursery program, and learn and preserve the institutional knowledge of the school. The Antioch School is an independent elementary school in the town of Yellow Springs, Ohio, with over a century of educating children in a democratic setting. The Antioch School Nursery program is one of the first two programs serving children aged 3.5 - 5 in the state of Ohio.
