Responsibilities

The assistant director should feel comfortable instructing onsite environmental education and guiding trips throughout New England. On camp, campers participate in the "SkyPines" program, an overnight campout experience where meals are cooked over the fire and campers sleep on the shores of Trickey Pond. Skylemar additionally offers hiking/camping trips across Maine, New Hampshire and Canada. Hikes include the Presidential Range of White Mountains, Tumbledown Mountain, Pleasant Mountain and more. 

We are eager to hire someone who is excited about immersing themselves in our community. Additional responsibilities will emerge beyond programming and we expect an open-minded attitude. Whether serving meals in the lunch line or hosting a talent show, the assistant director should be excited about all aspects of Skylemar.

Compensation Information

$4,000-$6,000 for employment between June 12th - August 10th. Additional employment opportunities potentially available beginning June 1st and ending September 20th.
