The Summer Youth Consultant will play an integral role in creating and delivering a diverse array of engaging and age-appropriate experiences for children in the Kashekee program, with a specific emphasis on designing and facilitating farm-based activities. As the primary lead of gardening activities, the consultant will also be charged with the maintenance of the children’s garden area. Beyond cultivating the garden with youth, the person in this role will help design and facilitate other activities including, but not limited to preparing food, creating art, and embarking on field trips. Central to the position is the responsibility of encouraging youth to reach their full potential by effectively managing behavior and by fostering meaningful relationships among participants. This role extends to encompass the mentoring of Summer Youth Leaders, by guiding them in working with children and growing their workforce and leadership skills.

Compensation Information

$18 / hour
