Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with local community organizations, schools, and environmental groups to design a comprehensive summer program that aligns with ICF’s conservation goals.
- Organize and conduct training sessions for high school students selected to serve as youth leaders or “hosts” during the summer program, ensuring they are educated on ICF’s conservation efforts and the importance of promoting empathy for wildlife.
- Oversee the logistical details of the summer program, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish. This includes creating and managing the daily schedule, coordinating transportation, arranging meals and snacks, and ensuring necessary supplies (such as educational materials, equipment for field activities, and first-aid kits) are readily available.
Qualifications Required:
- Experience with education design and analysis. Proven experience in positions that provided surveying and/or data management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to treat confidential information with appropriate discretion.
- Experience with managing complex projects to completion.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate student or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in positions that provided surveying and/or data management.
- Background relating to wildlife conservation, education or biology preferred.
- Previous outreach experience.

- Ability to operate computer and phones.
- Ability to communicate with visitors of diverse backgrounds. Communication will include both one-to-one communication and small and large group communication.
- Must be able to stand for 2-4 hours while conducting surveys.
- Occasionally required to lift and move items up to 20 pounds.
- Occasionally required to move throughout the building and the site.
- Ability to work remotely, in a stationary position for meetings and projects.
Compensation Information
This position has a set duration of approximately May 2025 – August 2025. (20 wks.) with an average of 35 hours per week. The pay range is $18.00 – $20.00 depending on experience.
