Summer Camp Counselor

Employment Dates: May 31-July 18 (7 weeks, includes one week of staff training prior to the start of camp)

Highlands Presbyterian Camp and Retreat Center is located 90 miles northwest of Denver at the base of Mt. Meeker, near Rocky Mountain National Park. At 8,000 feet elevation, the 285 acres of diverse natural area includes ponderosa pine forest, wetlands, streams, and mountain vistas that moose, beavers, bees, and much more call home. 

Counselors will be stay with the campers in our cabins from Sunday afternoon until Friday morning. Throughout the camp week, you will provide campers a good role model and caring leader that they are able to speak to and learn from. Every camper should leave with a renewed sense of connection: connection with self, connection with others, connection with nature, and connection with creation. As their counselor you are our greatest asset in making these things happen.
