Sail the Maine coast teaching high school students on beautiful 6 passenger sailboats. This is a job for a person interested in a career in outdoor experiential education on the ocean. This is a career-building experience for educators and students alike.

Summary

Sailing the Maine coast Monday mornings thru Friday afternoons with two crew - captain and deckhand-educator. Teach an accredited program in Nautical Science - basic sail training. Students learn to operate the vessel and work hard all week in an outdoor experiential program which can be life changing and confidence building. Join us in Maine from April thru October. Room and board included plus a stipend.

Compensation Information

Deckhand-educators receive $1,500 to $2,500 per month based on experience plus room and board.
