Summary
The Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art is seeking a college-level student who has successfully completed at least one year of college and is pursuing a degree in environmental education, art(s) education, or a conservation-related field to apply for a summer internship position. The intern will primarily assist the Education Department during their summer camp season which consists of 8 different day camps from June-August and cover ages 4-12. Summer camp themes will include both nature and arts topics, each camp having a different theme. During camps, the intern will be expected to assist in leading activities and guiding campers as needed. They will also have the opportunity to develop activities and participate in the planning and preparation of camps, as well as gain experience in working in a nonprofit setting and outreach events.
