- Lead outdoor adventure activities (hiking, canoeing, archery, low ropes, rock climbing, ziplining, etc.)
Summary
YMCA Camp Dudley Outdoor School (located in Yakima, Washington, USA) is hiring naturalists for the spring season (April 7 - June 11). $160 per day (Monday-Friday) plus room and board. As an outdoor school, we serve fifth and sixth grade students from Yakima and surrounding areas--predominantly Title 1 schools--for school day, extended day, and overnight outdoor education programs.
We provide a mix of outdoor recreation activities (hiking, canoeing, archery, low ropes, ziplining, rock climbing, gaga ball) and hands-on outdoor education stations (about trees, ecosystems, biodiversity, habitats, watersheds, environmental stewardship, cultural awareness, and more).

Compensation Information
Due to the varied day-to-day schedule, we pay a flat daily rate of $160 per work day (Monday through Friday) to ensure that naturalists are fully compensated even on extremely short work days. Room and board is also provided for the entirety of the season.
