Live and work in the beautiful Idaho mountains! Our seasonal scheduling allows great opportunities to work and play in your off seasons. Come and work as an outdoor facilitator for the Fall, then, in the winter, visit one of our world class mountain ski resorts. In the summer either join or summer camp staff or spend your time on the country's longest stretch of class 5 rapids on the nearby Payette River. Housing is available and food is provided during program operation.
Summary
A typical day as an outdoor facilitator may include any of the following:
- Leading a group of k-12 students in outdoor environmental learning on our 415 acre property.
- Teaching STEM outreach to local rural schools
- Guiding an adult corporate retreat through teambuilding challenges
- Facilitating high ropes elements, fishing, canoeing, arts and crafts, STEM activities, climbing, or zipline to a weekend family camp group.
- Providing logistical support for local nonprofit organizations holding retreats or conferences at camp
Compensation Information
- Daily rate: $85-$105 DOE
- On-site housing available: shared room in a modern, comfortable staff house
- Food provided during program operation
