Summary
We are a South Shore YMCA program that functions primarily outdoors. The full-time teacher is a year-round position available for the upcoming school year which begins in September with opportunities to work in our day camps and ELCs in the summer months.
Teacher must be teacher or lead teacher EEC certified, a degree in a related field is preferred.
Teachers responsibilities include planning age appropriate lessons in an emergent style, developmental student assessments and daily classroom management. We spend the bulk of our day outdoors so candidates must be able to be outside and participate in physical activities such as trail walks.

Compensation Information
Preschool certified teachers range from $19-$22 while certified Lead teachers range from $20-$24 dependent upon education and experience.
