Summary
Job description
Established Growing Outdoor preschool- Kindergarten looking for a lead teacher. Located in Union and Essex New Jersey for this Fall. This year we have added ages 6-10 years old as well.
Responsibilities
You would be responsible to lead 6-10 kids in the park reservation while teaching preschool/ Kindergarten basics with an assistant. We combine nature play, free play, Reggio and Montessori teaching styles. Hours are flexible but shift is minimum 4 hours straight in all-weather environments. Responsible to create own curriculum based on the letter theme of the week. Kids ages range from 2.5-6 year olds and we work with neurodiversity children.
Qualifications
Looking for a special education teacher, OT, PT, Music or Speech Therapist.
Team Player who wants to grow with an alternative educational opportunity.
Must be able to hike minimum 1 mile a day and carry 50 lbs.
First Aid/CPR required as well as background/criminal record check.
Foreign language specifically Spanish or Japanese is a plus.
Compensation Information
Salary ranges $25-$35 per hour depending on experience and role one takes on.
