Summary
The Nature Preschool at GSES is looking for an assistant teacher for the '24-'25 school year. This position runs from September through May, with a few training days in August before classes begin. Hours are from 8:45 to 2:15 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 8:45 to 12:15 on Tuesday and Thursday. While the preschool is part of a larger Episcopal school, the preschool program is NOT faith-based. Our focus within the nature preschool is to facilitate nature connection, model pro-environmental behaviors and stewardship, and support whole-child growth with a strong emphasis on social-emotional learning.
The ideal candidate must have experience in early childhood education, a patient and calm demeanor, be comfortable being outside in all weather and physically able to hike and pull a wagon full of materials, and be curious and excited to learn outside along with the children.

Compensation Information
Pay is $19.50/hour with six paid sick/personal days per school year.
