Summary

The South Dakota Discovery Center (SDDC) Youth Programs Director is responsible for leading program staff and contracted program’s work in implementing age-appropriate, hands-on STEM education, empowering a confident, curious science identity in the exhibit hall space and in programs and classes in our communities. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Youth Programs Director ensures that all programming is aligned with the strategic objectives of the SDDC in order to enhance depth and richness for patrons and stakeholders.

Compensation Information

Starting salary of $50,000, commensurate with experience. The SDDC Director of Programming, Education, and Exhibits is a full-time position with flexible work hours. Paid vacation and sick leave, and 5% benefits stipend. Retirement option up to 3% match after 1 year of employment.
