Marin Water is accepting applications for 6-month seasonal employees to work with the Natural Resources department on the Mt Tamalpais Watershed. While these positions are entry-level and require flexibility and a willingness to learn each job requires a specific skill set. Applicants that express a thoughtful career trajectory are stronger contenders than those with no focus and apply to all positions. Salary is $23.88 to $27.56 per hour.

Summary

One position available is Watershed Aide: Volunteer Management & Community OutreachThe work shift is Tuesday through Saturday 8:00am to 4:30pm and will run from end of January to July.

Specific projects the Volunteer Program aide will be working on this winter/spring include: planning, prep, running and reporting on volunteer habitat restoration and trail crew events; assisting with community science projects which includes field work and managing data sets; public outreach and building partnerships. We would like to find a person who has experience with group management and is comfortable leading large and small community groups and volunteers. Also has the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

Recruitment is also underway for six-month aides with Maintenance and with Vegetation

Compensation Information

Salary is $23.88 to $27.56 per hour.
