Visitor Center Assistant

Assist with logistics, design and implementation of estuary and coastal wetland education programs for the public, professionals, and students within the Old Woman Creek visitor center. Provide trail, canoe, and facility tours. Assist with volunteer coordination. Staff visitor center, answering public inquiries and orienting visitors to the Reserve. Live animal care, including fish, amphibians and reptiles. Other duties as assigned. 

Individuals who are self-starters, able to work within a team setting, and have strong public speaking and writing skills.  Applicants would benefit from knowledge of environmental science and/or education, natural resource management, communications, or a related field.  Understanding of water safety and First Aid/CPR certifications preferred.
