Engagement and Learning at Longwood centers around three priorities: inspire and educate people of all ages as they develop a lifelong love for plants, train the next generation of horticultural professionals, and share stories about Longwood's deep sense of place, its plants, and its people.
Longwood seeks a proven leader who has a passion for learning and demonstrates expertise and significant accomplishment in the creation, deployment, and evaluation of strategies that engage diverse audiences, expand knowledge, and make a difference.
A bachelor’s degree is required. Additional degrees, certifications, and training are important, but not essential. 10+ years of progressive leadership experience highly preferred. Experience with evolving technologies and the advancements of technological tools and digital delivery channels is required.
