This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits through the University of Florida. Florida 4-H has three 4-H camps that provide environmental education to youth, and we're looking to expand programming through our AmeriCorps program. Summary

The Florida 4-H AmeriCorps Program Director provides leadership for and manages the programmatic and administrative operations of the AmeriCorps Environmental Education Programs at Florida 4-H camps and communities. They will recruit, train, and retain AmeriCorps members and actively promote the associated environmental education programs; actively market the program to local and state community partners, and manage all necessary reporting related to the Florida 4-H AmeriCorps grant. The program director works alongside the on-site, camp directors in the formulation of policies and procedures which have a significant impact on the AmeriCorps program. This program director will also assist in creating, training, and teaching environmental education curricula and programs.

Compensation Information

$36,000-$45,000 commensurate with experience, full TEAMS benefits through University of Florida
