Lead the next generation of farmers and changemakers! Spend summers guiding teens through hands-on organic farming, leadership, and teamwork while growing alongside our production crew. In the off-season, dive into creating and delivering engaging educational programs for all ages—helping cultivate curiosity and connection to sustainable agriculture year-round.

Summary

The Teen Farm Fellowship Lead coordinates and mentors Cedar Circle’s Teen Farm Fellows, fostering a positive and educational work environment while supervising daily tasks to ensure harvest goals and production targets are met. They guide fellows through hands-on learning in vegetable and berry production, plant care, and general farm maintenance. A key responsibility is organizing service-learning projects both on-site and with partner farms and community organizations, enriching the fellows’ experience. The Lead collaborates with the Education Department to develop and deliver teen agriculture curricula, lead educational programs, and plan the next year’s fellowship, while also participating in diverse farm operations.

Compensation Information

Hourly rate is $17-$19 per hour, based on experience. Benefits include paid time off, a 403(b) retirement plan, access to farm produce, and a 20% discount at the CCFEC farmstand and cafe.
