Four Teacher Naturalists have the opportunity to join Team Pamet each school year, living and working on the great outer beach of the Cape Cod National Seashore. Can you id the shells on the beach? Do you know the birds by their songs? Does the idea of leading a hike along a wind-swept winter Beach with a crew of 5th graders sound like fun?

Responsibilities: Teacher/Naturalists lead 3 hikes/lessons per day for their teaching group.  Teachers develop and present experiential lessons based on the MA Education Frameworks.   Lessons are centered on the local environments (Ocean Beach & Dune, Bay Beach, Dune Forest, Salt marsh, White Cedar & Red Maple Swamps) and cultural history.  Lessons also include: Nightwalk, Group Building, and Pizza Making.
