Summary
Land’s Sake Farm (Weston, Massachusetts) seeks dynamic educators for our 2022 summer programs. Educators will be responsible for working in pairs to plan and deliver high quality educational programming for groups of 12 elementary school or middle school youth. Programs run on a sustainably-minded working farm located on a former arboretum, and emphasize place-based, hands-on learning experiences. We are a small, tight-knit staff, so we all wear many hats (sometimes literally, but generally figuratively). We seek educators with a wide variety of interests, including (but hardly limited to) gardening, animal husbandry, carpentry, music, cooking, art, food justice, and outdoor/survival skills.
M-F, June 20th - August 26th from 8:00-3:00, and additional hours for planning and clean-up as necessary for a total of 35-40 hours a week, including one week paid training.
$15.50-$16.50/hr dependent on position and experience
Benefits include access to free farm produce, including pick-your-own flowers and veggies, ongoing training throughout the summer, and fresh eggs when available.
