Summary
Make a difference in the life of a girl and spend an unforgettable summer working for Girl Scouts of Colorado! Guide, supervise and counsel elementary aged Girl Scouts in camp and outdoor program activities at various day camp locations across the Denver area. Activities may include: hiking, boating, outdoor skills, archery, Girl Scout outdoor badges, teambuilding, camp games and other activities. Provide programming in outdoor and other camp programs to support the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and provide opportunities for Girl Scout camp experiences in the Denver metropolitan area.
Summer day camp is a great way to add work experience and desirable skills to your resume - especially for those pursuing a degree in education or recreation!
Dates of Employment:
June 6 - 10: Staff Training Week, Denver. Additional training dates may be added and will be shared with staff by Day Camp Program Manager by Mid-May.
Camp sessions are Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Additional hours will be available on Fridays to support work to prepare for the next camp week.
Camp Session 1: June 13 - 16, Bear Creek Lake Park, Lakewood
Camp Session 2: June 20 - 23, Chatfield State Park, Littleton
Camp Session 3: June 27 - 30, Cherry Creek State Park, Aurora
Camp Session 4: July 11 - 14, Bear Creek Lake Park, Lakewood
Camp Session 5: July 18 - 21, Chatfield State Park, Littleton
Camp Session 6: July 25 - 28, Cherry Creek State Park, Aurora
