Summary
We are looking for female staff who want to work in a multicultural community where you will act as a mentor, role model, and teacher to campers ages 5-17. It is a wonderful opportunity to gain interpersonal & leadership skills, critical thinking & problem solving skills and much more! We are located in southern New Hampshire. Dates: June 16- August 15, 2022.
Camp Wa-Klo is an all girls and gender minorities, summer camp located at the foot of Mt. Monadnock in the beautiful southwest region of New Hampshire. “Our little corner of the world” provides a special summer home for campers with a warm, nurturing, and inviting family. We are looking for exceptional college-aged female counselors to join our mature, diverse, and energetic staff this summer.
Counselors both teach in a specialized activity area (or a few!) and live in cabins with paid time off during the week, including access to camp vehicles. Activity areas include land sports, water sports, equestrian, and creative arts (including both visual and performing arts). We hope to find counselors who have experience in multiple areas. Wa-Klo can also work with students to provide internship or observation hour credit for college.
Our staff and campers come from all over the world creating a diverse and unique community. We have approximately 40-45 staff who live in cabins and teach in a specialized area. Our dates are from June 16- August 15, 2022. This is a paid position with room & board included. Lifeguard and WSI training provided to waterfront staff. Archery training provided to sports staff.
