Work for a small, dynamic, Nature Center sharing your passion of nature and the outdoors with elementary students in their classrooms and on the grounds of the Nature Center. Located in Jamestown, New York, this position visits urban and rural schools, works with a wide variety of topics, live animals, and both structured and unstructured programming.

Salary: Part-time, temporary, $15.80/hour 
Schedule: hours vary from week to week based on school schedules. Typically 20 to 35 hours per week

General Description

ACNC’s Seasonal Nature Educator teaches classroom nature programs, works with Nature Educators to modify classroom teaching points and methods, helps with festivals and events, and assists with teaching other programs at the center when school is not in session. Other tasks may be assigned as skills and time allow.
