The combined role of Photographer and Business Manager is responsible for overall business operations and main photographer of campers and staff during the camp season. As a member of the leadership team, this role is expected to collaborate with all team members across the camp community to ensure camp operations are successful including office management, communications and staff support.
Summary
Job Duties:
Office Management and Administration*
- Maintain confidentiality as a member of the leadership team.
- Ensure the camp office is up to date with driving schedules and shopping trips. Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages, coordinates lost and found and organizes office supplies.
- Maintain and operate the phone and computer systems of the camp office. Answer the phone, provide information and coordinate communication with the Camp Director.
- Organize and champion weekly session registration for each session. Responsible for training and assigning staff for registration procedures, organizes camper health cards and maintains registration with the Bedford office. Updates camp forms and coordinates printing.
- Provides excellent customer service by helping to solve conflicts amongst staff, campers, and families in person, on the phone and via email. Provides information about campers in a professional and confidential manner to stakeholders. Keeps the Camp Director abreast of any conflicts, situations or feedback that arise.
- Ensure receipts are filed for each purchase and reconcile petty cash on a weekly basis.
- Track vehicle usage and gas receipts. Performs vehicle safety checks daily and before out-of-camp trips. Alerts the Camp Director of any issues with leased vehicles, immediately.
Photography and Staff Support*
- Photograph and video campers and staff in activities throughout in various scenery and program areas intended for social media posts, future print and digital marketing.
- Edit, organize and manage photography and video media.
- Photograph campers in all sessions participating in camp activities and programs. Uploads photographs of campers to family sharing photo application daily.
- Cover units and Unit Leaders as needed.
- Support staff with purchasing needs, including purchasing for staff and/or coordinating off campus shopping trips in local areas.
- Assist with the coordination of extracurricular and cultural activities for international staff.
*Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Required Skills/Experiences:
- Preferred 21+ years old; Must have graduated high school.
- Experience in a business or office setting delivering exceptional customer service.
- Experience in Microsoft Suite programs with the ability to create reports, develop materials and maintain records.
- Ability to operate technology including computers, phone equipment, and printer/copier/scanner.
- Experience purchasing and budgeting.
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders of all ages including campers, parents/guardians, and staff.
- Community First Aid and Adult, Child and Infant CPR/AED certification required.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record history. Must be willing to drive 12 passenger van with training provided.

Compensation Information
$100/day, 6 days a week with 24 hours off and 2 hr breaks daily
