Part Time Environmental Educator

Tasks: Developing and teaching hands-on environmental education activities in local preschools, elementary schools, parks, private homes, senior living facilities and other locations; supervising and utilizing volunteers; documenting and reporting all activities including contacts, programs, training and implementation of education activities; responds to the public to answer nature-related questions via phone, electronic communication, and in-person; assistance with developing grants for program support; additional assistance with programs, events and on-site facilities as needed. Interacts with Township Department and related Division employees, the public, governmental, and Township officials in a courteous and professional manner at all times; other related duties as necessary to support the Township of Abington Briar Bush Nature Center and Parks and Recreation Department.
