Spark's Outdoor Program runs year-round out of a beautiful city park in the heart of Chicago's Northside. This unique program provides children an opportunity to have a meaningful connection to nature each day, even in an urban environment!
Summary
The Outdoor Program Teacher for the Primary program. This teacher will be responsible for supporting the lead teacher in creating and implementing outdoor, nature-based, developmentally appropriate experiences for children ages 3 to 6 years old. They will facilitate these experiences in our daily Outdoor Program which operates out of Horner Park, every day– in all weather– from 3pm to 6pm. The schedule for this position is 2-6 pm, Monday through Friday. There will likely be opportunities to sub in the morning in the classrooms, if desired.
