Summary

Join our team of enthusiastic educators. We are responsible for creating meaningful and lasting experiences for our campers. We lead a wide variety of natural history, living history, and group cooperation activities. Educators also run games, campfires, wall climbing, hayrides, canoeing, night hikes, and more. Our Outdoor Education program serves fourth through seventh grade school groups throughout the school year.

Located on the Little Miami River in southwest Ohio, Camp Kern has 480 acres of land. In addition to our accommodations and lodges, Camp Kern has a log cabin built in the 1830’s, a lake, ravines full of fossils, a nature center, high and low ropes courses, climbing walls, a canopy tour, an indoor horse-riding arena, wetlands, canoes, archery ranges, climax growth forests, and plenty more. Ohio’s largest prehistoric earthworks (Ft. Ancient) with a large Native American museum are within hiking distance. In short, Camp Kern has an amazing array of resources making it a great place to live, work and teach.

Pay begins at $380 per week for those living in camp housing and $430 per week for those living offsite. Other benefits include meals, and a YMCA membership.
