Summary
Outdoor Educator
Outdoor Educators lead and support environmental and outdoor learning programs for youth attending our sites with their classroom/school. The role combines teaching, adventure, and leadership to help students explore nature, develop confidence, and strengthen teamwork skills in a supportive outdoor setting. Specific summer role determinations will be made as part of the hiring process and through discussions based on your skills, interests, and abilities.
- Full-time position, April 13, 2026- October 23, 2026, we can consider spring or fall only, however we prefer a 3-season commitment
- Stipend is $15,000-$15,750 for about 30 weeks, including paid training, paid in bi-weekly installments.

Trip Leader and Leadership Educator (Level 3 Overnight Camp Counselor)
As a Trips and Leadership Educator, you will play an integral role in leading outdoor leadership programs for teenagers, guiding them through 3-8 day trips including camping, hiking, and canoeing adventures. You will participate in a comprehensive training to hone your practical skills, after which you’ll co-lead multiple-week sessions focused on essential leadership skills such as communication, team-building, and outdoor safety. Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing engaging lessons for in-camp and out-of-camp time, supervising campers for their safety and well-being, planning and preparing meals for trips, and driving 12-passenger vans to various program sites, all while modeling positive behavior and environmental stewardship.

Overnight Summer Camp Counselor (Level 1 and 2)
Overnight Camp Counselors are responsible for fostering a supportive, inclusive, and respectful living environment for campers, prioritizing their safety, enjoyment, and personal growth. This role requires counselors to model positive community living and guide campers in learning to live responsibly and sustainably. Through active engagement and leadership, Overnight Camp Counselors help campers develop a sense of connection to both the community and the natural world around them. We have three levels of Overnight Camp Counselors with different requirements and responsibilities for each level.
- Full-Time, Temporary, June 10 or June 14 to August 14, 2026
- Stipend range is $3,600-$4,750 for 9-10 weeks, including paid training, paid in bi-weekly installments.
