Summary

The KidSpirit Camps Coordinator will uphold the OSU KidSpirit Program mission by providing safe and enriching learning experiences for youth participants and staff on non-school school days. As the camp coordinator, you will be committed to the KidSpirit program being recognized for its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and positive youth development. Position tasks include overseeing camp operations, staff recruitment and training, oversight of camp curricula, staff and program evaluations, and outreach to expand camp offerings.

Skills & experience desired:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field.
  • Additionally, candidates should have at least three (3) years of experience in a leadership role within youth programming, including promotion and personnel management, hiring, training, and evaluation.
  • A strong commitment to promoting diversity and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential when interacting with youth, guardians, volunteers, and student employees.
  • Effective time management and planning abilities are necessary, as well as a general proficiency in computer usage, including familiarity with information technology, professional office software, and collaborative work platforms.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to and utilize various digital communication systems, including websites, email newsletters, social media, and other tools, within a dynamic technological landscape.

Compensation Information

The salary range is $44,496-$75,516
