Summary

Naturalists lead interpretative programs for students and general visitors at Wind Wolves Preserve. From October through May, Naturalists are primarily responsible for leading field trip programs, teaching science, culture, and nature topics to students from K-8th grade. They also engage with visitors on weekends and during public programs and events. The position requires regular weekend work and some late shifts. Hours range from 18-28 hours per week, varying seasonally. Bilingual (English/Spanish) applicants are highly desired. Compensation Information

$17.00-$17.50 per hour, non-exempt (18-28 hours per week with fluctuations in hours throughout the year). Benefits: 401k, bereavement, jury duty, Employee Assistance Program, and 40 hours of paid sick leave annually. In accordance with California’s pay transparency requirements, the pay scale for the position is $17-19 an hour.
