Chief Development Officer
Miami Waterkeeper is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Development Officer to lead our development team and fundraising efforts. As the Chief Development Officer, you will play a pivotal role in securing the financial resources necessary to support our mission, programs, and initiatives. This team member will be responsible for continuing to grow our comprehensive fundraising strategy, cultivating donor relationships, and overseeing the execution of all fundraising activities to ensure we hit our revenue goals to support our aggressive growth plan. This individual should have a proven track record of cultivating and securing six-figure-plus gifts, and be willing to implement new fundraising systems and be adept at scaling and growing teams, as well as mentoring and training staff. Salary: $160,000-$210,000

Development Coordinator
Miami Waterkeeper is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Development Coordinator who is passionate about our mission and desires to support our clean water goals. The Development Coordinator will support the operations of the Fund Development team with administrative coordination. This position will be responsible for keeping the database and prospect management software up-to-date, creating and sending thank you notes and receipts, event preparation and logistics, and preparing reports. This individual should be highly organized with a high attention to detail.
Salary: $45,000-$55,000

Environmental Policy Specialist
We are seeking a strategic thinker with policy experience in the environmental field.  An ideal candidate for this role will have a deep passion for our mission and will be eager to work on multiple high-impact campaigns simultaneously. This person will be driven, collaborative, and possess excellent communication skills. This person should be comfortable with working across Miami Waterkeeper team areas (science, outreach, marketing) and with external partners on a diverse set of campaign initiatives related to clean water, habitat protection, and sea level rise resiliency, helping to organize community and galvanize action. Project management proficiency and the ability to meet absolute deadlines while managing multiple priorities are essential. This role entails deep research and strategy development, as well as the ability to pivot quickly to respond to changing conditions. The ideal candidate will inherently value fairness and can appreciate multiple viewpoints on complex environmental issues. 
Salary: $70,000 - 85,000

Senior Environmental Attorney
Miami Waterkeeper is seeking an individual with legal and policy experience in the environmental field.  An ideal candidate for this role will have a deep passion for our mission and will be highly-skilled, detail-oriented, independent, exceptionally organized, and self-motivated. This person will be able to guide overall mission-oriented strategy, including litigation and legislation. This candidate can manage multiple projects simultaneously, pivot quickly, and will be able to work closely across teams.  Our Environmental Attorney will feel comfortable making policy and legal recommendations to the Executive Director and Waterkeeper and working with outside counsel as well as our policy team.  This individual will have an in-depth understanding of the Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, NEPA, rulemakings, and related regulations.  This role will also work closely with our team to develop mission-specific advocacy campaigns.
Salary: $110,000 - $150,000

Science and Research Director
Miami Waterkeeper is seeking an individual with extensive research experience and robust data analytical skills. An ideal candidate for this role will have a deep passion for our mission and will be detail-oriented, independent, exceptionally organized, and self-motivated. This person will be able to lead a team and project manage multiple, complex, multi-year scientific projects from design to publication. This candidate should have an advanced background in statistical analyses and publications, and should be able to translate scientific data for a general audience.
Salary: $70,000-$85,000

Marketing Content Creation Specialist
Miami Waterkeeper is seeking a dynamic Marketing Content Creation Specialist who is passionate about our mission and desires to support our clean water goals. The Marketing Content Creation Specialist will serve as the organizational storyteller and will implement a comprehensive communications strategy to advance the mission of Miami Waterkeeper. The position will create awareness and interest within our audiences and stakeholder groups, driving traffic to engage with digital content by managing Miami Waterkeeper’s social media platforms, website, email marketing, and blogs. The position will also promote all areas of Miami Waterkeeper’s work and impact (science, policy, education and outreach, and development) while ensuring consistent messaging and branding. 
Salary: $45,000-$65,000
