Seasonal Customer Experience Specialist
This is an entry-level position with growth opportunities within an Outdoor Education organization. This position will be a member of a small team that focuses holistically on all aspects of the customer experience and journey and will be an integral part of how customers perceive Keystone Science School.
$22-$27/hour depending on experience 

Summer Seasonal Bilingual Customer Experience Specialist
This is an entry-level position with growth opportunities within an Outdoor Education organization. This position will be a member of a small team that focuses holistically on all aspects of the customer experience and journey and will be an integral part of how customers perceive Keystone Science School.
$22-$27/hour depending on experience + 10% bilingual wage differential

Discovery Overnight Head Camp Counselor
Works with the Overnight camp program. This position is responsible for planning, teaching, coordinating, and facilitating a wide variety of summer program activities in conjunction with the other Discovery Camp Head Counselors and the Discovery Overnight Camp Leads. This position is the primary caregiver for each child in their assigned living space. Head Counselors will also coach, mentor and provide constructive feedback to Discovery Camp counselors.
$600 per week base rate, 10% boost for Spanish speakers, 3% boost for returning camp staff.

Day Camp Counselor
Responsible for facilitating a wide variety of curricula and activities. They are the primary caregiver for each child attending programming, and are responsible for guiding campers in their personal growth and daily living skills.
$500 per week base rate, 10% boost for Spanish speakers, 3% boost for returning camp staff. Keystone Science School provides housing and food for this position.


Adventure Logistics Coordinator
The Adventure Logistics Coordinator shares responsibility with the Adventure Programs Manager for the day-to-day program operations, and will be responsible for logistics coordination of all adventure programming with support from the Adventure Programs Manager. Adventure programs are 6-12 day adventure sports trips for 5th-12th graders.
$1000 per week base rate, 10% increase for Spanish speakers. 


Adventure Instructor
Adventure Instructors are responsible for planning and facilitating curriculum and activities during field-based programs. Adventure Instructors are familiar with the daily schedule, risk management practices, emergency action plans, and the overall energy of Adventure programs. They are responsible for guiding students in their personal growth and daily living skills.
$800 per week base rate, 10% boost for Spanish speakers, 3% raise for returning staff.  

Pathfinder Day Camp Counselor
Pathfinders is an adventure day camp for middle school-aged campers with 3 themes: Rock, Horse, and Water. Pathfinders counselors are responsible for facilitating a wide variety of curricula and activities. Pathfinders counselors are also required to go through KSS’s rock climbing training and must have prior rock climbing experience.
$550 per week base rate, 10% boost for Spanish speakers, 3% boost for returning camp staff.

Camp Nurse
The Camp Nurse engages with our day, residential, and teen leadership programs. This position is the primary caregiver for each child while on KSS campus and is responsible for planning, administering, and documenting all participant health-related situations. Fellow staff, children, and guardians will rely on the Summer Health Care Provider to keep a safe and healthy community throughout the Summer.
$1200 per week base rate, 10% differential (increase) for Spanish speakers, 3% increase for returning camp staff.
