Help lead our After-Camp Care program with students in grades K-9! After a day of learning outside, ACC instructors will facililate games and activities for campers signed up for our afternoon program. This position provides the opportunity to learn more about the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem through MOSS curriculum and training.

Summary

Montana Outdoor Science School (MOSS) programs provide an inclusive and accessible opportunity for children to explore and learn about the natural world. Additionally, we work to provide a memorable educational experience, learning through exploration and hands-on activities. This position requires instructors to be comfortable outdoors and able to supervise and teach small groups of students independently in an outdoor environment for 6 or more hours daily. Instructors must be adaptable and willing to improvise curriculum and activities to accommodate students of varying ages, physical abilities, and support new programs.

The Summer After-Camp Care (ACC) Instructor is responsible for facilitating safe and fun post- camp activities. This program includes engaging and supervising students in grades K-9 in outdoor settings, facilitating games, creek activities, arts and crafts, and relaxation time. 

Hours and Scheduling
After Camp Care will take place Monday-Friday, 3:00-5:30pm from June 15 through August 21, 2026. ACC Instructors will work approximately 18 hours/week when scheduled. ACC Instructors work approximately 10 weeks throughout the season depending on preference and program needs.
