In support of facilitating meaningful conservation professional development opportunities for youth and young adults on public lands in partnership with the National Park Service (NPS), the Member Manager will be responsible for NPS Western region-specific outreach and recruitment efforts, member onboarding and ongoing member support, and will serve as a project-related point of contact for applicants, members and NPS partners.

Summary

Job Title: Member Manager, Western Regions - EPIC National Park Service NPS.

Location: ACE offices location/ Remote Flexible - locations in Pacific or Mountain Standard Time zone preferred.

Department/Division: EPIC (National Park Service)

Status: Regular, Full-Time, Salaried (Exempt)*

*Depending on location, this position may be non-exempt/hourly in compliance with specific state regulations.

Schedule/Hours: ​​Full-time, 40 hours/weeks with additional hours as needed. Typical work hours of 9:00am-5:00pm (Monday - Friday) local time with some adjustment expected to accommodate specific projects and program needs. Some evening and weekend hours may be occasionally required.

Reports To: Western Regions Program Manager, EPIC NPS Division

Start Date: January 2024

 

With the primary direction and support of the ACE EPIC Western Regions Program Manager, along with team support, the Member Manager will oversee the entire member experience for ACE EPIC NPS partnership programs' individual placements, primarily those taking place west of the Mississippi River.

Compensation Information

Compensation: Starting annualized salary of $44,000 - $46,000, based on experience.

Benefits: ACE offers competitive medical and ancillary plans (health, mental health, dental, vision and other supplemental benefits). ACE Staff members are also eligible to participate in ACE's retirement plan with a 1% employer contribution.

Holidays, Vacation, and Sick Time: As an ACE staff member, you will be eligible to accrue up to 80 hours of paid vacation time annually during your first two years of continuous employment, then it increases to 120 hours annually. ACE observes 13 paid annual holidays (floating holiday flexibility). ACE provides 10 days (or 80 hours) of paid sick time annually.
