We are hiring seasonal sailing crew (April-November) for the Skipjack Sigsbee. We are looking for an unlicensed Mate and a Deckhand/Educator. Positions start on March 6, 2023 and pay between $15-16.50/ hour. Lunch provided on every work day and house is available.

Summary

Are you excited to get out on the water this year? If you are, the Living Classrooms Foundation Maritime Education Department is hiring seasonal sailing crew!

We are actively looking for Mates (unlicensed), an Educational Coordinator, and two Educator/Deckhands for a March to November season. As a crew member you would assist the captain with safe vessel operations, teach students and members of the public, and facilitate maintenance projects.  Crew members on the Sigsbee and Mildred Belle provide high quality, safe, and hands-on experiences for all who sail onboard these historic vessels.
