Lifeguard

New Pond Farm Education Center is a dynamic environmental education center located in Redding, CT. Its 102 acre property features an award-winning dairy farm, 2.5 miles of wooded trails, a stream, pond, meadow, pastures, and indoor learning center. “We inspire and educate each generation to become stewards of the land by championing conservation and sustainable farming practices to protect and preserve our natural world.”        

Our summer camp is an outdoor-based program for children ages 4-14. The 2026 camp season runs for 6 weeks beginning on June 22nd. Between 9:30am and 3:30pm, campers will have the opportunity to become naturalists, farmers, gardeners, beekeepers, chefs, artists, treasure hunters, scientists, and more. Swims in our outdoor pool are a part of each day.

We are seeking a experienced, certified LIFEGUARD, AGE 18+, who is excited to work with campers ages 6 - 14 at an outdoor pool. Approximately 4 hours of lifeguarding each day. There is the opportunity to add on additional hours as a counselor for a full day's.
